About Us

Side By Side Preschool & Child Care was founded in September of 1995. With a current staff of 7, Side By Side continues to promote individualized learning in our small classroom settings.  We promote the state regulated Teacher Student ratio of 10-1. 

and are currently following all the COVID Health and Safety guidelines set out by The Department of Early Education and Care.

A child’s early development follows a fairly predictable path, according to each child’s individual schedule.  At Side By Side Preschool & Child Care Center children are viewed as unique individuals. We feel each child’s development is best supported through an emergent & creative curriculum.

Our staff promotes a positive self-image by encouraging the children to try new activities & challenges. All while enjoying the fun in learning.

We believe that through this emergent & creative curriculum all areas of learning and development can be integrated into child-directed activities as well as independent play.  The physical, social-emotional, and cognitive aspects of his/her personality are also incorporated throughout this curriculum.
